Applications are invited for the following purely temporary position in the project The Role of Governance in the Resolution of Socioeconomic and Political Conflict in India and Europe (CORE) located at the Centre:

Research Associate (one position)

Consolidated salary of Rs. 15,000 to 20,000/- per month, depending on qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
Masters in Political Science, Sociology or a related discipline with minimum 55% marks.

Desirable Qualifications:
1. M.Phil. in Political Science, or Sociology or a cognate subject with minimum 6.0 CGPA.
2. Experience of research in a related area
3. Experience of conducting field surveys especially in Bihar and Jharkhand
4. Working knowledge in MS Office package, data interpretation, database entry and retrieval, Internet and basic statistical applications.

The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis, initially for a period of one year or until her/ his services are required by the Project Director, whichever is earlier.
