National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai, a technical arm of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India, is functioning with broad objective of promoting technology development in various mission mode objective activities related to Ocean Engineering and Ocean Resource utilisation. The Institute invites applications from talented and motivated Indian citizens to work in the challenging area of Ocean Technology for the following Regular posts, online through website of NIOT mentioned below:
SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT GRADE - A
Pay Band + Grade Pay: PB - 2 Rs, 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4200/-
Mechanical Engineering – No. of Posts – 1 (UR)
Eligibility Criteria
1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (with 60% marks) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
2. Basic knowledge of computer.
Job Requirement
Design, analysis and creation of mechanical components / structures and their fabrication.
Age limit: Not exceeding 28 years
Outstation candidates called for the Interview will be reimbursed the fare limited to single third class A/c fare by the shortest route from the place of duty / residence and back, subject to production of tickets.
