The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), S.A.S. Nagar is an Institute of National Importance set up by Government of India to impart higher education and undertake advanced research in Pharmaceutical Sciences. In order to strengthen its administrative set up, the Institute is looking for suitable persons for the following post:
DEPUTY REGISTRAR (ADMINISTRATION AND PURCHASE): Post- 01 (Reserved for OBC):
Qualification & Experience:
Post Graduate with at least 55% marks. Twelve years’ experience in educational administration or comparable experience in Research Establishment/Institute of higher education including 4-5 years as Assistant Registrar.

Desirable: Experience in computer based administrative functioning and material management degree/diploma.

Remuneration and benefits: Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with starting pay of Rs.21900/- pm Plus Grade pay of Rs.7600/- pm and other allowances as per Central Government Rules.

Maximum age limit: 45 years. However, the competent authority may relax the experience and age in case of exceptionally meritorious candidates as per Institute rules.

Following positions, sponsored by CSIR, GOI are available in Department of Pharmacoinformatics, NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar.

1.SRF
Project Investigator: Dr M.Elizabeth Sobhia
No. of posts: 01
Duration of project: 13 months GP-352 18000 p.m. +HRA
Essential: M.Sc. or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks & one publication in standard refereed journal and should have completed at least 2 years of post M.Sc. research experience
or
M Pharm or equivalent degree in pharmaceutical sciences with at least 60% marks.
Desirable: Hands on experience in using software Sybyl, Schrodinger, Discovery Studio, etc. Sound knowledge in the
theoretical aspects of CADD strategies.

SRF

Age Limit: 28 years (may be relaxed depending upon the suitability of qualification & experience & Relaxation for SC/ST/PH/OBC as per GOI rules).

The positions under the projects are purely temporary and are fixed for the mentioned period of time. Walk in Interview will be held on August 24, 2011 at 11.00 A.M. in the Conference Room, Convention Centre of this Institute. Candidates should bring three copies of the application giving (a) details of educational qualification, experience with name of the Institute, post held, scale of pay and past salary (b) Reprints of selected research publications, if any. Application should be accompanied by demand draft for Rs. 50/- (Rs. 25/- for SC/ST/PH) in favour of "Director NIPER", drawn on any scheduled bank payable at Mohali/ Chandigarh. Central Tool Room set up by the Government of India, under Ministry of MSME in Technical Collaboration with the Government of Germany intend to add the following personnel :-
Engineer : two) One for General and one reserved for OBC for the person with disability for Locomotor – in the pay band of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- plus allowances. Maximum Age : 30 years.
