Applications are invited from Indian nationals for:
ANALYST (PETROCHEMICAL & POLYMERS) –: 3 POSTS
Qualification:
M.Sc in Chemistry or Polymer Science with minimum 60 percent marks from a recognized University/Institute.
Preference will be given to Candidates with M.Sc in:-
- Physical Chemistry OR
- Polymer OR
- Material Sciences
Experience:
Applicants should have minimum one year experience. The experience should be preferably on any one of the following:
a) Testing and Characterization of Polymers using UTM, Impact tester, MFI tester, Density gradient column, particle size analyzer, DSC, TGA, DMA, Capillary/Rotational Rheometer, viscometer etc.
b) Operation/handing of Polymer Processing equipments like Injection Molding, Compression Molding and single/twin screw extruder etc.
IOCL R&D Centre Management reserves the right to increase standard of qualification and / or experience in order to restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable level.
Age Limit: 26 years (as on 30.09.2011)
Concessions & Relaxations:
-Reservation of posts for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ PH/ Ex-servicemen as per Govt. Directives.
-Minimum standard of 60% in the qualification is relaxable for SC/ST/PH candidates.
-Age relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PH candidates. Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen as per govt. rules.
- SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
- Outstation SC/ST/PH candidates called for written test/interview will be reimbursed single ‘to & fro’ 2nd class Rail/Bus fare by the shortest route on production of tickets/ticket number provided the distance is not less than 30 kms from the mailing address.
Placement: Selected candidates will be placed on a minimum basic Pay of Rs. 11900/- in the Grade IV pay scale of Rs. 11900-32000. Besides Basic Pay and industrial pattern of DA, the other allowances/benefits are applicable as per rules of the Corporation.
Selection Methodology: The selection methodology shall comprise written test/interview. However, holding of written test is at the discretion of Management based on the number of applications received.
