The Institute Invites applications for filling the following positions on direct recruitment (including re-employment) / deputation.
Junior Hindi Translator – 1 post in Pay Band - 2 of Rs 9300 – 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200
Upper Age Limit – 30 years
Direct Recruitment (including re-employment):
Educational Qualifications / Experience: -
(i) Master’s degree in Hindi / English with English / Hindi as main any subject at the degree level OR Master’s degree in any subject with Hindi as the medium of instruction and examination with English as a compulsory subject at degree level OR Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and other as main subject plus recognized Diploma / Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central / State Governments offices including Government of India Undertakings /Autonomous Bodies.
Desirable:
(i) Knowledge of Sanskrit and / or a modern Indian Language,
(ii) Administrative experience,
(iii) Experience of organizing Hindi classes or workshops for noting and drafting
(iv) Ability to work independently on personal computer On Deputation: Officers from the Central / State Governments / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies, not exceeding age of 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications holding:
(i) analogous post OR
post in PB-1 with GP of Rs 2400 / 1900 or equivalent, respectively with 3 / 5 years regular service in the grade and
(ii) Possessing educational qualification and experience laid down for direct recruits.
